Breaking sports news video. MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL highlights and more.

Alex Smith’s interview with NBC after the 49ers beat the Lions on Sunday night may have been the most amusing part of the network’s telecast. As the 49ers quarterback was being interviewed following his 226-yard, two touchdown performance, a super creepy dude wearing a hoodie began sneaking up behind him.

The videobomber appeared to have a credential to be on the field, and at first it looked like he was leaning close to try and hear what Smith was saying. The problem is that he soon realized he was part of the shot and began staring straight into the camera like he was doing it on purpose. The man’s eyes grew larger, and his sharp facial features became more pronounced the more straight-on that he looked at the camera. It was like he was staring into our souls!

Thank goodness the creeper was no longer part of the shot by the time the interview got to Justin Smith, because I couldn’t handle it for another minute. That was easily the most intense videobomb we’ve seen since Bubba Watson last month.

UPDATE: Per Samuel Lam in the comments, the videobomber in question is Niraj Vora, and he is an aspiring rapper. Here are his Twitter and Facebook pages.

Bubba Watson was at it again this week. The noted joker happened to see golf writer Alex Miceli filming a live segment for Golf Channel’s “On the Range” show ahead of The Barclays when he decided to have some fun.

Watson began with a routine videobomb before progressing to some pantomiming behind Miceli. He began shaking his head, pretending like he was falling asleep, and he looked at his watch as if he were bored. The Masters champion even pretended to take a phone call behind Miceli.

Miceli continued talking with a serious face for over 20 seconds, and it wasn’t until he stopped talking that he realized Watson was behind him.

I’d say I was surprised by the amusing video, but this is the same guy who bought the General Lee vehicle from “The Dukes of Hazzard,” and performed in a hilarious boy band video. This is pretty typical behavior for Watson, who obviously likes to keep it loose.

H/T Huff Po

This is the worst. You’re trying to enjoy a day at the ballpark with your friends and take a few photos to capture some of the best moments and some clown goes and does something like this. As you can see from the photo above that @amm_94 shared with us on Twitter, three lovely young ladies got an opportunity to pose for a picture in front of the dugout with the field in the background over the weekend and Josh Hamilton had to go and spoil it.

Guy obviously has no respect for a good photo opportunity. We’ve seen some unintentionally graphic videobombs recently and some that were done with a specific purpose in mind, but there’s no excuse for this. These girls probably hate their picture now and they didn’t even realize it until they got home. What could have been a memorable moment is now nothing but a lousy digital camera file that has probably already been erased.

H/T The Big Lead

A man wearing a funky British flag hat and outfit pulled off one of the best videobombs of all time. The crazy man interrupted U.S. Open winner Webb Simpson’s interview with NBC following his championship round by jumping in front of the camera and making some bizarre bird-like noises.

Bob Costas reacted by saying “Always something to spice matters up,” but it was Simpson’s line that was the best.

“Enjoy your jail cell, pal,” is what he thought.

Yeah, I don’t know if that fan is getting jail time, but I’m sure the 10 seconds of fame were worth it just like it was for this man.
