We made a big deal of Texas Tech offensive lineman Brandon Carter last year for his crazy face paint and piercings last year. This year, it’s his head tattoos that got all the attention. They were on full display following the Alamo Bowl when he was shown on camera with his helmet off, hugging interim coach Ruffin McNeil. And man, I didn’t realize how much he had added to his collection. Check out these pictures of Brandon Carter’s head tattoos:
I wonder if pirate enthusiast Mike Leach appreciates the skulls. Carter actually had the head tats done right before the season started and they were actually his design: “Whenever I get bored I just draw stuff,” Carter said. “About 90 percent of the stuff I throw away, but every once in while there is something I want to get tattooed. Nothing is exempt from being tattooed. My body is a canvas so there is always skin somewhere. No area is off limits.” It’s unfortunate that Carter’s a senior because we won’t be seeing any more of him and his crazy tats at Texas Tech. It will be interesting to see if he gets looks from the pros — I’m guessing he does, and not just because of his persona.
