Greg Hardy calls himself Kraken, says he went to Hogwarts (Video)

Greg HardyGreg Hardy must be a big “Harry Potter” fan. When he did his introduction for NBC “Sunday Night Football,” he said his name was “Kraken” and that he went to Hogwarts, the school of wizardry Potter attends in the book series.

As our friend Mike Oz said, Hardy must have been a two-sport star at Hogwarts killing it on campus at quidditch and football.

Hardy actually went to Ole Miss.

Samuel L. Jackson intros Hornets-Clippers, quotes Ezekiel 25:17 (Video)

Samuel L. Jackson is known for being an actor who never turns down a role. I guess he has the same policy when it comes to repping professional sports teams.

Two years ago Samuel L. did a “Rise Up” video for the Falcons. On Thursday, he did the pregame intros for the Clippers-Hornets game in New Orleans, following the lead of Will Ferrell. Jackson wasn’t as funny as Ferrell, but he quoted passages from Ezekiel 25:17, the infamous prayer he said in “Pulp Fiction.” That was one of Jackson’s best roles (Rev. Sultan was my fave) so anytime he quotes it he’ll be thought of highly at LBS.

Jared Allen Was My Sous-Chef at Culinary School

Jared Allen is such a character, hearing him introduce himself by saying he went to culinary school for college is not a surprise. Apparently the tradition has been going on since last year on NBC football but this was the first time I heard it. Check out Jared Allen’s introduction on NBC and thanks to LBS contributor BobaMan for the tip:

Please, don’t even bother asking why he said it — it was a joke. Just like this was a joke and this too.
