Alex Smith videobombed by super creepy dude in hoodie (Video)

Breaking sports news video. MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL highlights and more.

Alex Smith’s interview with NBC after the 49ers beat the Lions on Sunday night may have been the most amusing part of the network’s telecast. As the 49ers quarterback was being interviewed following his 226-yard, two touchdown performance, a super creepy dude wearing a hoodie began sneaking up behind him.

The videobomber appeared to have a credential to be on the field, and at first it looked like he was leaning close to try and hear what Smith was saying. The problem is that he soon realized he was part of the shot and began staring straight into the camera like he was doing it on purpose. The man’s eyes grew larger, and his sharp facial features became more pronounced the more straight-on that he looked at the camera. It was like he was staring into our souls!

Thank goodness the creeper was no longer part of the shot by the time the interview got to Justin Smith, because I couldn’t handle it for another minute. That was easily the most intense videobomb we’ve seen since Bubba Watson last month.

UPDATE: Per Samuel Lam in the comments, the videobomber in question is Niraj Vora, and he is an aspiring rapper. Here are his Twitter and Facebook pages.
