Aaron Hicks clocked at over 105 mph on throw from outfield
Aaron Hicks broke a record on Tuesday night by recording the hardest throw from the outfield ever recorded.
The New York Yankees outfielder was clocked at 105.5 mph — a Statcast record — on his throw home to hose Oakland’s Danny Valencia at the plate to end the top of the fourth inning:

Hicks circled behind the ball perfectly and was able to get all his momentum going forward on the throw, which undoubtedly helped him get so much velocity behind it:

We thought it was impressive when Jackie Bradley Jr. was clocked at over 101 mph on a recent throw from the outfield, but this was even better.
Even though these position players are not pitchers, let’s not forget what good arms some of them have.
