One of the prominent remaining free agents may be about to find a landing spot.
According to Fox Sports 1 analyst Dontrelle Willis, free agent outfielder Adam Jones is heading to the Arizona Diamondbacks, pending a physical.

There was no further confirmation of the report, but Jon Heyman of MLB Network reported that the Diamondbacks have been interested in Jones on a one-year deal.

Jones would be playing for his third MLB organization. He had the opportunity to depart the Baltimore Orioles last season, but blocked all efforts to trade him. He’s coming off a season where he hit .281 with 15 home runs.
