Addison Russell made a spectacular play to rob Ryan Braun of a hit on Tuesday night.
Braun was batting with one out in the top of the 9th inning with his Milwaukee Brewers trailing the Chicago Cubs 3-0. Braun hit a smash to shortstop, but Russell went into the hole and snagged the ball with his backhand on the grass and made the throw across the diamond to barely get Braun.

Oh, and did we mention that Russell entered the game in the 9th as a defensive replacement? He made Joe Maddon look like a genius with that special play.
The Cubs won 3-0 to push their lead over Milwaukee in the Central to two games.
