AJ Pollock’s new Dodger teammates threw shade at Diamondbacks
A.J. Pollock jumped from one NL West team to another this offseason, and then began the year in the somewhat awkward spot of having to face his old club to start the season.
Pollock is now with the Los Angeles Dodgers after spending his entire career with the Arizona Diamondbacks. His new teammates won’t let him forget it, either — and they took some joking shots at Arizona in the process.
Dodgers showed an interview with A.J. Pollock on the video board pregame. Reporter @alannarizzo prefaced a question by saying she had heard several of Pollock's new teammates tell him, "Welcome to the big leagues" now that he had joined the Dodgers.

The Dodgers have made it a bit of a habit of trolling Arizona when given the chance. The two teams have, at times, competed near the top of the division in recent years, and the Dodgers will be keen on rubbing it in when one of Arizona’s longtime key players joins them.
