Alex Cora tells Red Sox doubters to ‘suck on it’
The Boston Red Sox held their championship rally on Wednesday, and manager Alex Cora was in such a great mood that he showed a side of himself we hadn’t seen during the team’s record-setting season.
While addressing fans at Fenway Park before the parade, Cora spoke about how people were panicking after the Red Sox lost Game 2 of the ALDS to the New York Yankees, and the champs responded with a 16-1 victory in Game 3. As Cora so eloquently put it, the naysayers can suck on that.

Cora also thrilled the crowd by recapping how Chris Sale struck out Manny Machado to clinch the World Series.

When you look at some of the stunts Machado pulled throughout the postseason, you know exactly what Cora is talking about. Cora is not known for being the most outgoing manager in baseball, but he sure seemed to enjoy the festivities on Wednesday.
