Is Alex Rodriguez really finished in the majors? Not so fast.
Rodriguez implied on Fox Sports 1’s MLB pregame show Saturday that he just might be back in action in 2017.

It’s worth noting that Rodriguez has been very, very careful about his choice of words since the end of his time with the Yankees. Back in August, his spokesperson issued a statement with a very important qualifier about his status for the future. If he does seek an opportunity for 2017, don’t be surprised if he gets one. Or perhaps A-Rod is just stoking some intrigue and seeing what happens. It’s hard to tell.
