Allen Iverson is all-in on Bryce Harper becoming the next star athlete in Philadelphia.
After Harper was introduced Saturday as the newest member of the Phillies, Iverson tweeted a photo of Harper’s new jersey and appeared to predict the former NL MVP would end up having his jersey number retired.

That’s high praise from Iverson. A.I. played 12 seasons for the 76ers, winning four scoring titles with the team and taking them to an NBA Finals. A beloved fan-favorite, he had his jersey (also No. 3) retired by the Sixers.
Harper is only 26, so it’s not crazy to think he may end up with his jersey retired. Harper also changed his jersey from the No. 34 he wore in Washington to No. 3 with the Phillies.
