Andrew Miller lands on disabled list for third time this season
Cleveland Indians reliever Andrew Miller is headed to the disabled list again as he nears the close of what increasingly looks like a lost season.
The Indians placed Miller on the disabled list Wednesday — his third trip of the season — with a left shoulder impingement. There was no immediate timetable for his return.
Oh-oh: The Cleveland Indians placed left-handed reliever Andrew Miller back on the DL with shoulder impingement. It's the third time this season he has gone on the DL.

Miller started having injury issues around this time in 2017, and his 2018 has not been a memorable one. A hamstring injury cost him early May, and then a knee injury that flared up later in the month kept him out until August. This is particularly worrisome, as unlike the others, it involves his throwing arm.
Even when healthy, Miller simply hasn’t been himself in 2018. He’s posted a 3.38 ERA and has not been nearly as unhittable as he has been in the past, allowing 18 hits and 13 walks in 24 innings of work.
