Gonzalez did a big bat flip as he was coming out of the box but was still able to make it to second. And thanks to a misplay by right fielder Melky Cabrera, two Astros were able to score on the play — even Alex Bregman all the way from first — to give Houston a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the sixth.
Astros reporter Chandler Rome says that Gonzalez was so pumped that he also threw his helmet in excitement.
