Ben Zobrist admits he thought of Cubs’ curse after Cleveland comeback

Ben Zobrist, the eventual MVP, admitted that the curse was on his mind as the Cleveland Indians staged a dramatic rally in the 8th inning to tie the game at 6 off Aroldis Chapman.
Ben Zobrist on curses: “I gotta be honest, when they came back in the 8th, it was on my mind a little bit."

It’s good that he admits it, because it’s hard to imagine it not crossing the mind, at least for a brief second. Of course, this is a team that has been pleasantly surprising him all postseason. No surprise that this resilient team did it again.
