Ben Zobrist spent roughly 14 weeks as a member of the Kansas City Royals following a July trade, but it’s safe to say his time there made quite the impact on him.
Such an impact, in fact, that Zobrist and wife Julianna named their newborn daughter Blaise Royal Zobrist.

When your new baby is born just a few days after you win your first career World Series at the age of 34, I guess you can’t really knock the Zobrists for forever linking the two life-changing events together. Zobrist is about to hit free agency and may not return to Kansas City, but either way, nobody in the Zobrist family will forget the Royals anytime soon.
