Blake Snell to miss start with broken toe
Blake Snell has been placed on the injured list due to a broken toe that is expected to see him miss a start.
The Tampa Bay Rays placed the reigning AL Cy Young Award winner on the IL retroactive to Sunday. He has a fractured fourth right toe.

Snell was roughed up in his first start of the season but has been nearly unhittable since. He’s allowed just one run on nine hits in 19 innings since, with just two walks and 33 strikeouts. He’s part of the reason the 12-4 Rays have the best record in baseball so far.
