Boston Sports Clubs newspaper ad takes shot at Alex Rodriguez

Boston-Sports-Clubs-A-Rod

The New York tabloids and newspapers have done such a great job of vilifying New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez since his name became associated with Biogenesis that there is practically nothing left over for their rivals in Boston. A Boston area gym called Boston Sports Clubs has decided to give it a go anyway.

The advertisement you see above recently appeared in the Boston Herald (via Boston Magazine). As most of you know, $34 million is the approximate amount A-Rod would have to forfeit if he sits out 211 games. However, he is appealing the suspension and could have it shortened when the mess is finally sorted out.

One issue that could potentially arise here is that Boston Sports Club may not have the substances Rodriguez is looking for. If the latest report about his secret meetings with a certain someone are true, BSC probably isn’t the type of gym A-Rod wants to work out at.
