Brandon Crawford is already back in the San Francisco Giants’ lineup.
Crawford left Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers after colliding with teammate Gorkys Hernandez. Giants manager Bruce Bochy said Tuesday he was optimistic that Crawford would be able to avoid the concussion list, and he was right.
Crawford was back in the lineup for Wednesday’s game, batting sixth and playing shortstop.
The Giants were able to win the first two games of their series with the Dodgers despite Crawford having limited involvement. The 31-year-old is batting .275 with a .777 OPS this season.
