Brandon McCarthy dealt with a bizarre injury during Wednesday’s game, and then he had to deal with some snark from his wife.
McCarthy partially dislocated his left shoulder while catching a ball as he covered first base for a putout to end the fifth inning of the Atlanta Braves’ win over the Washington Nationals.

The sheer mechanics of how he got hurt are mind-boggling, which led to this funny tweet from his wife, Amanda.
