Braves reportedly listening to offers for Andrelton Simmons
The Atlanta Braves are willing to listen to trade offers for Andrelton Simmons, according to various reports.
The Braves are definitely tearing things down and starting over following a 95 loss season, and it seems that Simmons is available for the right price, according to multiple reports from Jonah Keri and Bob Nightengale.
Teams calling on the Gold Glove shortstop have reportedly found that he won’t come cheap, though.

The Braves are aiming high, and why not? Simmons is arguably the game’s best defender, though not a great hitter. He’s also signed through 2021, so anyone getting him would have a shortstop for the long term. That said, if the Braves don’t have to move him, why not try to sell high and see if anyone bites?
