The Milwaukee Brewers are apparently considering several different options to improve.
According to MLB.com’s Jon Morosi, the Brewers have considered adding third baseman Mike Moustakas from Kansas City.

The interesting part about that possibility is that Milwaukee has a more than capable third baseman already in Travis Shaw. But Morosi says in this scenario, Shaw would be moved to second base, which would lead to a more productive infield considering the Brewers have the likes of Jonathan Villar and Hernan Perez at the position.
Moustakas would be owed the remainder of what’s left on his $6.5 million salary for this season. He’s having a down season and batting just .245 with a .766 OPS.
