Brewers see Mike Moustakas, Joakim Soria decline their options
The Milwaukee Brewers look like they will be losing a couple of key mid-season acquisitions.
The team announced on Tuesday that Mike Moustakas and Joakim Soria have declined their options and will become free agents.

Moustakas’ option was for $15 million, while Soria’s was for $10 million. Both players undoubtedly will be seeking longer-term contracts.
Moustakas settled for a one-year deal with Kansas City last year after free agency did not work out the way he hoped. The 30-year-old batted .251 with 33 doubles and 28 homers over the season, which he spent with KC and Milwaukee.
Soria, 34, had a 3.12 ERA over 60.2 innings. He split his time with the White Sox and Brewers.
