Everyone asked the same question about Bruce Bochy’s locker room speech
The Texas Rangers on Tuesday night completed their sweep of the Baltimore Orioles to earn a spot in the ALCS, and manager Bruce Bochy closed out his locker room speech with a very interesting comment.
Before he and his team began showering themselves in champagne and beer, Bochy left many fans asking the same question about something he said to Rangers players inside their clubhouse at Globe Life Field in Arlington.

“The only thing I need to know right now — Hedgie, what’s the number on your a– right now?” Bochy said.
Naturally, everyone wanted to know what that meant. The most prevalent rumor is that the Rangers have been tracking their “magic number” — the number of wins they need to win the World Series — with marks on catcher Austin Hedges’ rear end.
Okay so they are clearly counting down the number of wins remaining on Austin Hedges' ass

Austin Hedges apparently is updating the magic number on his ass after each game in marker.

That would be something.
Hedges certainly did not hold back while celebrating the ALDS win on Tuesday night. A video of him and Max Scherzer going bananas together went viral. After he left the locker room, it is possible Hedges made an adjustment to the tally he has going on his cheek.
