Watch: Bryce Harper ejected for first time with Phillies
Bryce Harper put up a first for his Philadelphia Phillies career on Monday: an ejection.
The outfielder was tossed while in the dugout after barking over balls and strikes, and stormed out of the dugout in response. He had to be held back as manager Gabe Kapler animatedly took up his cause.

The general thinking was that Harper was aggrieved over the called strikes on him in his second plate appearance.
Bryce Harper was ejected, apparently for arguing balls and strikes from the dugout. Harper bounded onto the field, livid, to scream at home-plate umpire Mark Carlson, as the Citi Field crowd went bananas.

Harper plays with his heart on his sleeve, and there are past instances of him really losing it over called balls and strikes. Philadelphia fans got their first glimpse of it on Monday.
