Bryce Harper became a father for the first time when his son was born last week.
Harper and his wife Kayla introduced Krew Aron to the world via an Instagram post.
Harper went on the paternity list and was present for his son’s birth on Aug. 22. He then missed the Philadelphia Phillies’ next three games before returning on Monday.
Not only did Harper homer in his first game back, but he also honored his son in another way. Harper had “KREW” written on the knob of his bat.
Bryce Harper put his new born baby son’s name – Krew – on his bat! @bryceharper3 used the bat to HR in his 1st game back from paternity leave to help the Phillies eventually win the game!

That’s a pretty cool tribute to his son.
Harper is batting .255 with an .869 OPS this season, his first with the Phillies. Philly is 69-63 and looking to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2011.
