Dusty Baker: Bryce Harper is ‘a long way from running’
The Washington Nationals still appear to be a ways away from having Bryce Harper back in the fold.
Manager Dusty Baker said Wednesday that there has been little change in Harper’s status, but he is still “a long way” from even running.
Not much new on Harper, but Dusty said "he's a long way from running." Werth getting time in RF as insurance, just in case.

Harper has been dealing with a bone bruise in his left knee from slipping on a wet base since Aug. 12.
The fact that it’s been over two weeks and Harper is still not running is discouraging news for the Nationals. While it wasn’t as bad as it could have been, the Nats have offered no timetable on his possible return. They must hope they’ll have him back for the playoffs, but he needs to get moving soon for that to happen.
