Bryce Harper is set to make his Spring Training debut for the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday.
Phillies manager Gabe Kapler shared the news about Harper on Friday, saying he is set to DH on Saturday and play right field against the Rays in Clearwater on Monday.
This is not a surprise, but Gabe Kapler said Aaron Nola will start Opening Day. He also said Bryce Harper is scheduled to play right field Monday vs. Tampa Bay in Clearwater. Harper will DH tomorrow. #Phillies

Harper signed with the Phillies last week and was introduced to the media on Saturday. He’s been playing in simulated games this week and said he didn’t need long to be ready for Opening Day. At this rate, he’ll be able to get plenty of work in before the season begins.
