Bryce Harper spent his entire MLB career with one organization prior to signing with the Philadelphia Phillies this week. You’ll have to forgive him if he’s still getting used to being on a new team.
Harper was introduced as the newest member of the Phillies during a press conference on Saturday. As he talked about his goal of winning a championship for the city, he slipped up and said he wanted to bring one back to “DC.”

The guy was drafted by Washington in 2010 and spent nine years with the organization. His brain was clearly working on autopilot there, but I wouldn’t worry if I were a Phillies fan. He’s going to play hard and play well for his new team. He’s going to be an absolute monster hitting at Citizens Bank Park and give the Phillies a great return on their investment.
