Bud Black to interview for Dodgers job
Bud Black’s deal to manage the Washington Nationals fell through after the sides could not agree on a contract, and it sounds like the Los Angeles Dodgers are entering the mix for his services.
FOX’s Ken Rosenthal reported Tuesday that the Dodgers plan to interview Black for their opening. He also says they may conduct as many as 10 interviews.

The Dodgers reportedly have already interviewed former center fielder Dave Roberts for the job. They also are said to have some interest in Gabe Kapler, who played 12 seasons from 1998-2010.
Black managed the Dodgers’ NL West rival San Diego Padres from 2007 through this past season when he was fired. Black accepted the Nationals’ job last week but it fell through after he was insulted by the team’s contract offer to him.
