The Seattle Mariners fan who caught Cal Raleigh’s 61st home run of the season must have dreamt of it happening a week prior.
Raleigh belted his first home run of the postseason in the ninth inning to give the Mariners an 8-1 lead over the Detroit Tigers in Game 3 of the ALDS. The two-run shot went into Seattle’s bullpen in left-center field at Comerica Park in Detroit, Mich.
In a section full of Tigers fans, a Mariners fan was fortunate enough to get the ball on a bounce. He fittingly wore a shirt that said “DUMP 61 HERE,” which had the FS1 broadcast downright giddy.

Not only did the fan have the perfect shirt on for the occasion. He also had a wardrobe change ready just in case. After securing Raleigh’s 61st home run ball, the fan changed to a shirt that read “DUMP 62 HERE.”
