The Seattle Mariners clinched a playoff spot on Tuesday night, and star catcher Cal Raleigh got to offer up a message to the home fans at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Wa. He did not miss the opportunity to make it memorable.
Raleigh had a profane message for Mariners fans when addressing them on the field following the team’s 4-3 comeback win over the Colorado Rockies. In order to hype up the fans, Raleigh pledged to bring home the World Series in an understated yet pointed way.
“Might as well go win the whole f—ing thing,” Raleigh said to huge cheers.

If the Mariners do win the whole thing, Raleigh will likely have a lot to do with it. He has gone from a very good catcher to a possible MVP this season, as he leads the league with 58 home runs and 121 RBIs. The fact that he is hitting at that level while still catching most days is nothing short of remarkable.
Raleigh’s understated nature, which has been on display all season, has also helped make him a fan favorite.
The Mariners are set to enter the playoffs on a hot streak. They have won 15 of 16 and can clinch the AL West with one more win or one more Houston Astros loss. Nobody will want to play them in October.
