Chase Utley made a highlight-reel play on what started off looking like an embarrassing blunder.
Utley misplayed a ground ball from Tyler Chatwood with two outs in the top of the fourth inning of Thursday’s Dodgers-Rockies game. The dirtball then went to the ground and while sprawling, made a no-look toss to first to retire Chatwood.

Luckily for Utley it was only the pitcher running.

That was a bold move by Utley, and it paid off.
