Dave Roberts: Clayton Kershaw in ‘really good spot’ physically
Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw appears to be steadily progressing toward a season debut as he fights off nagging left shoulder issues.
Kershaw is set to throw a three-inning simulated game on Saturday, and manager Dave Roberts offered a very positive assessment of his physical status.

Kershaw missed Opening Day after shoulder problems early in spring training pushed back much of his activity. He’s clearly on the right track now, and it seems it will only be a matter of time before he takes the mound for the Dodgers in his season debut.
