Clayton Kershaw slated to return to mound Thursday
The Los Angeles Dodgers look like they might finally be on the upswing, and Clayton Kershaw’s imminent return should only help.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed Sunday that Kershaw would return on Thursday from left biceps tendinitis that has kept him sidelined.

Kershaw’s last start came on May 1, with his rehab picking up in recent weeks. The Dodgers have understandably been cautious not to rush him back given his importance to their team. It helps that the team has finally started to turn things around recently after a slow start, having won seven of their last nine. Kershaw’s return only serves to make them stronger, and perhaps now they can make a run in the NL West.
