David Bote did it again.
Bote hit a walk-off solo home run to break a 2-2 tie between the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field on Friday afternoon. The homer came on an 0-2 pitch with one out in the bottom of the 10th off Raisel Iglesias:

The 25-year-old rookie now is responsible for three walk-off wins this season. He was walked with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th to beat the Reds on July 8; he hit a pinch-hit walk-off grand slam to beat the Nats, and now he’s done this. Bote also smacked a 2-run tying home run in the bottom of the 9th against Arizona on July 26.
Bote is quickly developing a reputation for being a clutch performer.
