David Price likely to start on schedule this week after flu-like symptoms
David Price faced only three batters before leading Saturday’s game due to flu-like symptoms, but it does not appear likely he’ll miss a turn through the rotation as a result.
According to manager Alex Cora, the Red Sox hope to bring Price back on Tuesday or Wednesday against the Cleveland Indians after his abortive outing on Saturday against the Houston Astros.
Cora expects David Price to start Tuesday or Wednesday against the Indians.

Price has had a stop-start season due to some injury issues, but this appears to be the least worrisome of all of them. Though skeptics will note that this helps him miss out on facing the New York Yankees, he’ll be back on the mound quickly, presumably at full strength.
