Dictionary.com has fun with fan calling Bryce Harper ‘overrated’ before HR
We are not even a week into the 2018 MLB season, and Bryce Harper has already shown up a fan of an opposing team in epic fashion. In fact, the moment the Washington Nationals outfielder treated us to on Sunday was so good even Dictionary.com couldn’t ignore it.
When Harper was batting in the top of the ninth against the Reds, a fan in the nearly empty Great American Ball Park could be heard yelling “overrated.” Harper immediately responded by launching a home run to center field to give the Nationals a 6-3 lead.

Dictionary.com took the opportunity to remind everyone that “overrated” and “underestimated” are antonyms.
As any good Bryce Harper fan knows, the antonym of "overrated" is "underestimated." #Nationals https://t.co/hA13BDKcki

As we have seen when he goes ballistic on umpires, Harper is one of the most competitive players in baseball. He obviously heard the fan yell “overrated,” and he had to have taken satisfaction in making him eat his words.
