Dodgers players all had the same reaction to Shohei Ohtani’s monster home run

Alex Vesia shocked

Shohei Ohtani treated Game 4 of the NLCS like it was a Little League game, and he left all his Los Angeles Dodgers teammates in awe while doing so.

Ohtani was the starter for his Dodgers in Game 4 of the NLCS against the Milwaukee Brewers at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, Calif., on Friday night. He began the game by striking out the side. As if that statement of domination weren’t enough, he homered to lead off the bottom of the first. Ohtani single-handedly had put his Dodgers up 1-0 in the elimination game.

Not satisfied, Ohtani walked in the second, and then he launched his second home run of the game in the 4th inning to put his Dodgers up 4-0. The home run was a moon shot that traveled an estimated 469 feet.

All the Dodgers players were left in awe of that home run. They all had their hands on their head in response.

I love that Shohei Ohtani can still shock his own coworkers like this pic.twitter.com/IQ55FV4Gxr

Further proving just how locked in he was for the game, Ohtani homered for a third time in the 7th.

Hitting three home runs in a single postseason game is the stuff that made Reggie Jackson famous. Ohtani did that and pitched six scoreless innings in an elimination game. He’s Sandy Koufax and Duke Snider all in one player. Unreal.
