The Los Angeles Dodgers are keeping their manager in place for the foreseeable future.
The team announced a new four-year deal with Dave Roberts on Monday that will run through the 2022 season.

Roberts had been under contract for 2019, but the team announced it as a four-year pact. The move has been coming and was never truly in doubt, though the two sides appeared to hit a bit of a bump in negotiations a few weeks ago.
Roberts is 287-200 with the Dodgers and has led the team to consecutive World Series appearances, though he lost both. The Dodgers never had any appetite to move on from him, and Roberts never wanted to leave, so this got done in a fairly drama-free way.
