Report: Dodgers trying to move Yasiel Puig
Have the Los Angeles Dodgers finally given up on Yasiel Puig?
According to Jon Heyman of Today’s Knuckleball, the Dodgers are trying to move Yasiel Puig before Monday’s trade deadline.

Three short years ago, Puig looked like a budding superstar and was being mentioned in the same breath as Mike Trout and Bryce Harper as far as young outfielders go. It’s gone downhill since then, though. Puig is hitting just .254 with little extra base power in 2016. He’s dealt with recurring injuries and is still criticized for lapses in concentration. His defense remains strong, but his stock is nowhere close to what it once was.
We knew that the Dodgers were open to trading Puig, but this is an indication of how aggressive they are in shopping him. It’s likely that they’re trying to open up space on the roster to try to acquire an outfielder like this one via trade.
