
Dustin Pedroia is on track to begin a rehab assignment early next week, according to a report.
Boston Globe Red Sox reporter Pete Abraham says Pedroia is set to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Pawtucket on Monday or Tuesday.

Pedroia underwent a procedure on his knee in October and has been rehabbing. He began playing extended spring training games late in April and has yet to make his season debut.
The 34-year-old second baseman batted .293/.369/.392 in 105 games last season.
