Elly De La Cruz made a ridiculous catch during his Cincinnati Reds’ big win on Sunday.
The Reds crushed the Orioles 24-2 at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Md. Not only did Cincinnati’s lineup go wild, but their defense also shined.
Long before the game became a blowout, Baltimore was down just 1-0 in the bottom of the second inning, and Jackson Holliday was at the plate with a runner on second and one out. Holliday sent a line drive up the middle that looked like a sure base hit, but De La Cruz went flying in to rob him.

That was unreal. This angle really captures the magic of the catch:

As if that weren’t enough, De La Cruz homered the next inning to put the Reds up 2-1. The bottom of the team’s lineup did most of the magic. Noelvi Marte went 5-for-7 with 7 RBIs, while Austin Wynns went 6-for-7 with 6 RBIs.
That grab from De La Cruz was one of the best of the season.
