Los Angeles Dodgers reporter Kirsten Watson of SportsNet LA has left countless fans in shambles after she apparently revealed her romantic relationship to the world.
On Monday, Watson shared an Instagram post, which included a selfie video showing a man wearing a baseball cap hugging her from behind.
That one clip was enough to send fans into heartbreak city as they grappled with the reality that their favorite baseball reporter is now taken.
I know I needed to take some extra time at work today when I saw the news.

Watson has been part of the Dodgers’ broadcast team dating back to 2021, and she continues to be among the most beloved Los Angeles sports reporters.
A graduate of Columbia University, Watson has experience covering other sports and leagues as well. During the baseball offseason, she works as a Game Day reporter covering the Los Angeles Rams, according to her website. In addition, she hosts Monday Night Football for an international market, particularly in the UK.
Dodgers fans heartbroken by Watson’s revelation about her love life can feel better looking at the state of the reigning World Series champions. The Dodgers are on a six-game winning streak entering Tuesday after consecutively sweeping the Colorado Rockies and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Dodgers hold a nine-game lead atop the National League West standings with an 80-51 record.
