Fat Joe made big mistake during his performance at Game 3
Musical artist Fat Joe on Monday did not endear himself to the New York Yankees’ groundskeepers at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, N.Y.
The Los Angeles Dodgers got Ice Cube to perform “It Was A Good Day” before Game 2 of the World Series. The Yankees countered in Game 3 with rap icon Fat Joe who went with his own hit single “All The Way Up.” But midway through Fat Joe’s performance, he committed a cardinal sin against the local grounds crew: he stepped all over the mound while wearing Timberland boots.

Fans on X could not help but lament the stress Fat Joe caused the groundskeepers for roughing up the mound just moments before Yankees starter Clarke Schmidt was set to take the field.

As fate would have it, Schmidt gave up a two-run home run to Freddie Freeman three batters into the contest. Some blamed Fat Joe for messing up the mound just moments prior.
This home run is on Fat Joe

The Yankees entered Monday’s contest trailing the Dodgers 2-0 in the Fall Classic. Who would have thought that the Yankees’ own musical would impact their chances of getting back in the series?
