Watch: Felix Hernandez hilariously busts Adrian Beltre’s chops after strikeout
Felix Hernandez hilariously busted Adrian Beltre’s chops after striking out his former teammate on Tuesday night.
Hernandez fooled Beltre with a 2-strike curveball in the second inning of the Seattle Mariners-Texas Rangers game. Beltre was so fooled that all he could do was muster a defenseless swing. Beltre knew he looked so silly that he couldn’t help but smile. Meanwhile, Hernandez pointed for Beltre to take a seat on the bench.

The ribbing between the former teammates was fun to watch. Hernandez got Beltre two more times after that, including a double-play. But Beltre got him back later in the game with a solo home run.
Hernandez, who has had a tough season, got roped for 11 runs (7 earned) over six innings. He didn’t have a ton to smile about as the game went on.
