Watch: FOX butchers Gerardo Parra ‘Baby Shark’ song
FOX embarrassed itself on Wednesday night by playing the wrong version of the “Baby Shark” song used by Gerardo Parra during his at-bats.
Back in June, Parra switched his at-bat music to “Baby Shark,” a popular children’s song. The Washington Nationals outfielder had success while hitting with the song and stuck with it. Pretty soon he started a whole movement at Nationals Park where fans do the “Baby Shark” motions when he comes to the plate.

When Parra entered as a pinch hitter in the 9th inning of World Series Game 2 on Wednesday night, FOX talked about how the “Baby Shark” story came about. Then they played the song as Parra batted, but they played the wrong version of the song.
