Francisco Lindor wears wrong helmet to bat
Helmets with protective flaps to guard against potential high-and-tight pitches are standard in Major League Baseball, but if you’re a switch-hitter, you have to be careful and select the right one.
Francisco Lindor found out what happens when you don’t, and the Cleveland Indians shortstop had to sheepishly swap his helmets out in his first inning plate appearance.
Francisco Lindor has done little wrong in the batter’s box of late… except going up with the wrong helmet today. The shortstop had a good laugh at himself while retrieving the correct one in the first. pic.twitter.com/xwYStLVT4t

This has happened before, though not to Lindor. It’s a simple mistake to make.
Lindor ended up with three hits on the day. It’s safe to say the helmet issue didn’t impact him at all.
