Friends say Tyler Skaggs ‘seemed completely normal’ day before death
Details surrounding the death of Tyler Skaggs are very limited, but those who were with the Los Angeles Angels pitcher on one of his final days say they had no reason to be concerned.
TMZ spoke with multiple people who were hanging out with Skaggs the day before he was found dead, and the general consensus is that the 27-year-old “seemed completely normal.” One source said Skaggs seemed like himself, while another called the death “shocking.”
“There was no indication anything was wrong,” one individual who was with Skaggs said.
TMZ also notes that Skaggs appeared to be in good spirits before the Angels’ trip to Texas on Sunday, as he was the one who suggested the team pose for a cowboy-themed photo before boarding their flight.
Skaggs was found dead at a Hilton hotel on Monday where the Angels were staying prior to their series against the Rangers. Police said there were no signs of foul play or suicide, and the autopsy results will not be returned until October.
