Giancarlo Stanton yet to resume baseball activities
Giancarlo Stanton does not appear close to a return thanks to a knee injury he suffered in June.
Unfortunately but unsurprisingly, Stanton has yet to resume baseball activities after hurting his knee during a slide last month against Toronto.
Dellin Betances is expected to begin his throwing program on Monday. Giancarlo Stanton is still in the rehab phase and has not resumed baseball activities.

The slow progress means we almost certainly won’t see Stanton in action again prior to August. That is close to in line with the initial timeline, and while there was some muted optimism the Yankees could get the slugger back a little early, it appears to have evaporated.
A series of injuries have limited Stanton to just nine games this season, in which he’s hit .290 with one home run.
