The Washington Nationals are loading up on every second-tier reliever they can find.
According to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com, the Nationals have acquired Hunter Strickland from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for minor leaguer Aaron Fletcher.

This is a largely speculative move for the Nationals. Strickland has pitched in just four games this season, having only returned two days ago from a strained lat muscle. If he gives them something down the stretch, it will be a bonus, and with a 2.98 career ERA, he has had success in the past. Ironically, he may be most famous for a huge brawl with a former Nationals player.
Strickland becomes the third reliever to be acquired by Washington on deadline day as they aggressively seek to shore up their bullpen.
